As expected, Xiaomi has officially announced Redmi Note 3 Android smartphone in a special event in Beijing, China. The device is a successor of Redmi Note 2, which was launched earlier this year. In addition, the China-based company also announced its second tablet, the Mi Pad 2 starting from 999 Yuan.

The Redmi Note 3 features a 5.5-inch Full HD Sunlight display with 4001ppi of pixel density. The device will be offered in two different variants- 2GB LPDDR3 RAM + 16GB internal storage and 3GB LPDDR3 RAM + 32GB internal storage. Both the versions will be powered with MediaTek Helio X10 processor.
As mostly anticipated, the device comes with Fingerprint sensor which unlocks the mobile in just 0.3 sec. The Redmi Note 3 sports a 13-megapixels rear facing camera with dual-tone flash and there is a 5-megapixels front facing camera for video calling and Selfie purposes.
With dual SIM support, it packs with other connectivity features like 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS, and A-GPS. It runs on Xiaomi customizes OS MIUI 7 and powered with massive 4000mAh battery.
Price and Availability:
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is priced at RMB 899 (Php6,620 / US$ 140 / Rs. 9,340 approx.) for the 2GB RAM + 16GB storage model, and RMB 1,099 (Php8,092 / US$ 172 / Rs. 11,415 approx.) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. It comes in Silver, Gold, and Dark Grey colors options.
