Xiaomi announced Redmi Note 3 Pro, the high-end variant of Redmi Note 3 Android smartphone in China. The Redmi Note 3 was Xiaomi first smartphone with fingerprint sensor and full-metal body. The latest Redmi Note 3 Pro has similar design but packs with improvised specs and features. It has 16MP rear facing camera and Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 SoC compared to Redmi Note 3 13MP camera and MediaTek Helio X10 chipset.

Coming to specifications, the Redmi Note 3 Pro sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels screen resolution and 178-degree viewing angle. It is powered with a 64-bit 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 SoC coupled with Adreno 510 GPU.
It again comes in two different variants- 2GB RAM + 16GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. It includes 16-megapixels rear facing camera with PDAF, dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video recording and 120fps slow-motion. There is also a 5-megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video recording.
The Redmi Note 3 Pro runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with MIUI 7 on top and has dual SIM support. The dimensions includes 150 x 7.6 x 8.65mm and weighs 164g. It includes all the standard connectivity options with 4G LTE on top. There is a fingerprint scanner on the back and packs with a 4,050mAh battery capacity.
Price and Availability:
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro comes in Dark Grey, Silver, and Champagne Gold colors and is priced at 999 Yuan (US$ 151 / RS. 10,170 approx.) for the 2GB RAM variant. Company didn’t announce any details regarding the 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM variant. The smartphone will be available to purchase starting from January 17th. The Redmi Note 3 Pro might be announced next month in India.
To remind you, Xiaomi recently launched its new budget Android smartphone dubbed as Redmi 3 in China for 699 Yuan (approx. $107 / Rs. 7,140). The device includes 5-inch HD display, powered with Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 processor, runs on Android lollipop, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory (extended with microSD), 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, and 4100mAh battery. Company yet have to announce its plans for global launch.
