Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, the company upcoming smartphone in the ‘Redmi’ series already leaked several times on internet. The device was rumoured to feature dual cameras and powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC. It seems the following rumour will no longer be true as today an alleged retail box image of Redmi Note 4 surfaced on Weibo which reveals Deca-Core MediaTek Helio X20 SoC, and MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Coming to the design, the Redmi Note 4 features a unibody metal design just similar to that of Redmi Note 3 which was announced earlier this year. It features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display, powered with Deca-Core Helio X20 CPU with 700MHz Mali-T880 MP4 GPU / Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 SoC with Adreno 510 GPU, 3GB RAM, and has dual SIM support.
It has 32GB/64GB internal storage which can be further expandable using a microSD card. It might include 13-megapixels rear camera with PDAF, dual-tone LED flash, and also include a 5-megapixels front facing camera. The device might also announced in another variant which features dual rear cameras. The other features includes fingerprint sensor, 4000mAh battery and adds connectivity options like 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.
Xiaomi has already scheduled a special event in Beijing, China on July 27th. So it expected that the Redmi Note 4 will be showcased at the same event along with Xiaomi Windows 10 laptop (expected).
