After the great success of Redmi Note 3 in India, Xiaomi launched its successor dubbed as the Redmi Note 4 with improvised design and hardware. Pricing Rs. 9,999 for the base variant, it is one of the hot-selling Android smartphone in the Indian markets. Like its previous handsets, the Redmi Note 4 is available only through weekly flash sale on Mi store and Flipkart.
Those who’re unlucky in placing an order on both the websites will get the opportunity to grab the device once again through pre-orders. To remind you, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was first introduced in China in August last year and it made official for the Indian market in January this year. The device packs with all those mid-range specs users looking at the Rs. 15,000 price category.
It has 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass on top which gives a premium look and is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with Adreno 506 GPU for graphics.
On the camera department, it features a 13-megapixels rear camera with PDAF, dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixels front facing camera. It is available in three storage versions – 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM, 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage pricing Rs. 9,999, Rs. 10,999 and Rs. 12,999 respectively. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with MIUI 8 on top. However, company recently released MIUI 8.2 update for the Redmi Note 4 and few other Xiaomi smartphones.
