According to the US FCC certification, the smartphone could feature a 5.5-inch Full HD resolution display and powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 652 octa-core SoC (four Cortex A53 cores + four Cortex A72 cores) or MediaTek’s 64-bit Helio X25 deca-core SoC. Considering all the previous launches, the MediaTek variant will be sold in China while the Snapdragon variant will be available for various Global countries including India. On the storage front, it might come with 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal storage with a microSD card option for further memory expansion. It might include 4,000mAh battery support with Quick Charge 3.0 support and adds various connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11n, GPS, 4G LTE, and USB Type-C port.
Price in India: The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is rumored to price $191 for the base version which converts to Rs. 13,000 approximately.
