Xiaomi today reached another milestone of selling 1 million Redmi 4 phones in India in just 30 days since its first flash sale on May 23rd on Mi.com and Amazon.in. These figures includes all the handsets sold through flash sales and pre-orders. With this impressive sales figure, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 beats the record of Redmi Note 4 which took 45 days to reach 1 million sales. Further, the Redmi 4 is expected to beat the record of Redmi 3S variants which have a sales figure of more than 4 million units.
To remind you, Xiaomi India launched Redmi 4 in three different variant – 2GB RAM with 16GB storage for Rs. 6,999, 3GB RAM with 32GB storage for 8,999 and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage for Rs. 11,999.

Coming to the specifications, this dual-SIM device from Xiaomi flaunts a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 ROM on top. It sports an all-metal body and a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. Under the hood, there is a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC coupled with 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 includes a 13MP rear facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, LED flash and a 5MP front camera. As mentioned above, the Redmi 4 comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage options which can be further expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card. It measures 139.2 x 69.6 x 8.6mm; weighs 150 grams and is powered by a 4100mAh battery.
